The Britain Nepal Medical Trust would like to wish one of our Trustees, Dr Raghav Dhital, a very happy birthday as he turns 80 in early October.

Throughout his career he has worked tirelessly towards fostering good will and friendship between the Nepalese and host community in the UK and has been awarded several prestigious decorations for his work including an OBE in 2007!

Ann and Chris Walters, long term supporters of BNMT, opened their garden to raise money for the Trust in June 2023. Johnny Payne, his wife Caroline and Gillian Holdsworth joined the family at Bell Bank House, Blockley in Gloucestershire for the day – and were joined by Rosemary Boere and her husband Wim. Rosemary was one of the original team who travelled to Nepal in 1968. The day raised £1000 for the Trust – and a big thank you to Ann and Chris.
